Responsibilities
- Locate and retrieve products from storage areas using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Label packages accurately with correct shipping information and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
- Operate warehouse machinery and safety equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quotas.
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8-10 hours) and lift heavy objects.
- Basic reading and math skills for scanning, weighing, and labeling items.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including loading docks.
- Strong attention to detail to minimize picking and packing errors.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
- Flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts as needed.
