Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack merchandise from warehouse shelves according to pick lists and order tickets.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent shipping errors.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels by counting inventory and updating warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified) to move heavy loads.
- Shipping Preparation: Label packages, apply shipping labels, and prepare items for carrier pickup.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, retail stocking, or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order processing.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a consistent work history are essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand written instructions and communicate with team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
