Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Track shipments in real-time using various logistics software and resolve any delays or carrier issues immediately.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers to negotiate rates and improve service levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records and reconcile shipping discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper packing and labeling procedures are followed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehouse coordination is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret shipping charts, rates, and schedules.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work well under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
