Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate 15+ warehouse staff to ensure efficient daily operations
- Optimize inventory management systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy
- Implement and enforce safety protocols compliant with OSHA standards
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely dock scheduling
- Conduct performance reviews and develop staff training programs
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Generate operational reports for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in logistics/supply chain
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proven expertise in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of FIFO, inventory control, and cycle counting
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
