Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping processes
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse associates to achieve performance targets
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain accident-free workplace
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and cost reduction
- Manage inventory control systems to ensure 99.5% accuracy and minimal shrinkage
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (transportation, purchasing, quality control)
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30-Hour certification and strong safety leadership background
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Experience managing teams of 10+ employees with proven retention track record
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong analytical skills with inventory management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
