Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring optimal productivity and safety compliance
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Coordinate receiving, putaway, and fulfillment operations to meet delivery deadlines
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety standards and housekeeping protocols
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for operational tracking
- Train team members on new equipment, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing teams for seamless logistics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1-2 years supervisory or leadership experience in operations/logistics
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification included in training)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends during peak seasons
