Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, coordinating daily workflows and task assignments
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and maintain safe working environments
- Manage inventory control systems including cycle counts and audits
- Optimize warehouse layout and material handling procedures
- Train and develop team members on equipment operation and safety standards
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Proven track record in team leadership and conflict resolution
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends when required
