Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Freight: Load and unload trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required; we offer on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid ID.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attendance: Strong work ethic and a history of reliable attendance.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
