Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare merchandise for shipment using RF scanners.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through cycle counts.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts (if certified) or pallet jacks to move heavy goods safely.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse protocols.
- Load Preparation: Safely load and secure trucks for delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and physical tasks.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not always required for entry-level positions.
