Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Inventory Control: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety standards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to operate warehouse management software (WMS) or handheld scanners.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
