Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe and organized manner.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and conduct cycle counts.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package items for shipment, label packages accurately, and prepare them for courier delivery.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies during daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver's License required; Forklift certification is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
