Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stockrooms to ensure product availability.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying contents against bills of lading.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items meet quality standards before storage or shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues to management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for qualified applicants.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting, sorting, and organizing inventory.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for site access.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime.
- Communication: Ability to read and understand basic instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
