Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure product availability.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (certification provided), and conveyor systems as required.
- Quality Control: Inspect merchandise for damage or defects before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper stacking and organization.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including shipping labels and logbooks.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance at previous employment.
- Basic Math: Comfort with basic arithmetic for counting items and calculating shipping weights.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks performed.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
