Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming stock using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick orders according to packing slips and prepare packages for shipment, ensuring weight and damage limits are met.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and powered industrial trucks; obtain certification upon hiring if needed.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine checks to verify product condition and report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily throughput targets and efficiency goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred; however, we provide paid on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly; must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners or RF guns.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, safety, and organization.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
