Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks and containers using proper equipment and techniques.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely, ensuring proper maintenance and certification.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage during handling and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
