Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise using RF scanners and inventory management software.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently retrieve and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all packaging meets quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Load Planning: Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
