The Role:
As a Night Shift Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly during the overnight hours. You will be responsible for handling inventory, processing orders, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload inbound and outbound freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Quality Control: Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Lifting: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with warehouse software (preferred).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and walk on various surfaces.
