Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare merchandise for shipment according to customer orders and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems (training provided).
- Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload trucks, verify shipments, and manage incoming and outgoing freight.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation and a positive work history.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required.
