Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas, trailers, and delivery vehicles using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory in designated areas to ensure accurate stock levels and easy accessibility.
- Package and label items accurately for shipment, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
- Operate warehouse machinery (training provided) to transport heavy materials efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in quality control checks to ensure customer orders are accurate and undamaged.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory discrepancies or urgent needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and handling cash (if applicable).
- Willingness to learn new processes and operate warehouse equipment under supervision.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and inventory management.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude is essential.
