Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and organizing stockrooms to ensure efficient workflow.
- Material Handling: Operate warehouse equipment (training provided) to move materials to designated storage areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and workplace safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and good attendance is required.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
