Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory items accurately to ensure optimal warehouse organization.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assist in the physical preparation and packing of customer orders for distribution.
- Utilize handheld scanners and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to track inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
