Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring workflow efficiency and productivity targets are met.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to foster a culture of safety and excellence.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and oversee the accurate receiving and shipping of goods.
- Coordinate with logistics managers to optimize shipping schedules and resolve any operational bottlenecks.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure forklifts and machinery are maintained properly.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding orders and resolve any issues professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) required; Valid Driver’s License preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
