Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products in and out of the refrigerated storage facility.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and ensure proper organization of storage aisles to maximize efficiency.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature standards to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Packaging: Prepare and package goods according to customer specifications and shipping guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a cold environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory tasks.
- Teamwork: Must be a self-starter who works well within a team environment.
