Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Efficiently pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems safely to move goods throughout the facility.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and ensure all items are in proper condition before storing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards, wearing proper PPE, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk extensively, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as overtime is frequently available.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
