Job Summary:
As a Picker Packer, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will work closely with a dynamic team to maintain high productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select merchandise using handheld scanners and pack items into boxes or pallets according to customer specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging integrity to prevent shipping errors.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and reporting discrepancies to management.
- Material Handling: Operate industrial equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) safely and efficiently as required by certification.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and maneuver around the warehouse.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, follow pick lists, and ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, consistent, and able to work varying shifts including weekends.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and counting.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required for the right candidates.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
