Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack merchandise from storage areas based on daily pick tickets.
- Inventory Management: Verify item counts and scan barcodes using handheld RF scanners to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyors to move stock and materials.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and ensure they are securely packed with appropriate void fill and labeling.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S safety standards.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including packing slips and daily logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly; ability to stand for long periods and walk on various surfaces.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, retail stocking, or logistics role is a plus but not required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
