Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack merchandise from the warehouse floor according to pick lists and customer orders.
- Verify item quantities and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure order accuracy and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Load outbound trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and stockroom organization as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work full-time weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities and reading labels.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk on various floor surfaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
