Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, check incoming shipments for damages, and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Picking & Packing: Process orders efficiently, ensuring products are packaged securely and labeled correctly for shipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, damages, and inventory movements in the warehouse management system.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in order processing.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation to work.
- Communication: Basic English reading and writing skills for documentation purposes.
