Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks while strictly adhering to safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders efficiently by picking items from shelves and packing them securely for shipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and strictly follow all OSHA safety protocols.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and digital logs for inventory transactions and shipment records.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with RF scanners or handheld devices is a plus.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team-based environment.
