Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move merchandise between dock and storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and inspect incoming stock for damages, discrepancies, and accuracy.
- Package and label items for shipment, ensuring proper handling and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Operate scanning equipment and computer systems to update inventory records.
- Assist in special projects or bulk inventory movements as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate warehouse machinery (Forklift certification a plus).
- Valid driver's license (not required for warehouse work, but preferred).
