Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment to meet delivery deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Stock Organization: Keep storage areas organized, clean, and orderly to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using proper equipment and techniques.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
