Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment.
- Pick and Pack: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to meet delivery deadlines.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure stock accuracy in the warehouse system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout to facilitate quick order fulfillment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management software.
