Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and verify merchandise against purchase orders.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse layout and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic routine checks and cleaning of warehouse equipment.
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders quickly to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
- Equipment: Current forklift certification is a plus but training provided.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and organization.
