Responsibilities
- Packaging & Shipping: Accurately pack, label, and prepare merchandise for shipment using standard warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Control: Assist in receiving, counting, and verifying incoming stock to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks and organize storage areas to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
- Availability: Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting stock and preparing orders.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Drug Screen: Must pass a pre-employment drug test (Background check not required for immediate hire).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
