Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in designated zones.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets quality standards.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks and trailers in a timely and organized manner.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when processing orders.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with reading labels, barcodes, and basic arithmetic.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Forklift Certification: Preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
