Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy and proper placement in the warehouse.
- Organization: Maintain an organized warehouse layout to facilitate efficient operations and stock retrieval.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners to track inventory accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
