Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using various material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or retail is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk throughout the facility.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners (RF guns).
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
