Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring merchandise is handled with care.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify shipments against packing lists to ensure correct quantities and product types.
- Organization: Stack and organize goods in designated storage areas to maximize space and accessibility.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time consistently.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
