Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and freight containers with precision and speed using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Ensure all items are securely packaged, labeled, and placed in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory counts, stock rotation, and cycle counts as directed by management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
