Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and freight containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Stack merchandise securely and organize warehouse aisles to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Operate warehouse equipment in strict adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock organization as directed by supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading docks can be hot or cold).
- Basic math skills for inventory verification and counting.
- Valid government-issued ID (SSN required for I-9 verification).
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- No prior warehouse experience necessary; a strong work ethic is all we ask.
