Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy.
- Organization: Maintain a neat, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Certification: Valid Forklift certification is highly desirable.
