Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trailers, trucks, and shipping containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Organize stock in the warehouse to ensure efficient inventory management and easy retrieval.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping quotas efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (loading docks) and adhere to safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
