Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload merchandise onto and from trucks, pallets, and shelves using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before they are processed or shipped.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring aisles and storage areas are clear of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and completing paperwork.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work as part of a team.
