Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and freight containers quickly and accurately using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Verify incoming and outgoing merchandise against bills of lading, invoices, and other records.
- Stack pallets and organize warehouse shelves to ensure efficient space utilization.
- Inspect goods for damage during transit and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions if applicable (loading docks).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
