Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count incoming stock to ensure accuracy and log inventory into the system.
- Package Handling: Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper labeling and packing before shipment.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, scanners) responsibly and within safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control during the loading and packing processes.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
