Responsibilities
- Load/unload freight trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual techniques
- Inspect and verify incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
- Maintain organized inventory records and warehouse cleanliness standards
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading schedules and workflows
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime during peak seasons
- Reliable transportation to Bakersfield facility (mandatory on-site shifts)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
