Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers efficiently using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing merchandise for damage or discrepancies.
- Organize stock in designated storage zones to maintain optimal inventory flow.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Operate handheld scanners to update inventory systems accurately in real-time.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly over the course of a shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills and ability to use technology (scanners/computers).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
