Responsibilities
- Safe Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks, pallets, and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against shipping manifests to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Package Preparation: Properly package and label items to ensure secure transit and easy identification.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols while operating machinery.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs repeatedly; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in counting and labeling tasks.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counts and weighing.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is a plus.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
