Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Inventory Accuracy: Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy by verifying stock levels and ensuring proper organization on shelves.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards before shipment.
- Material Handling: Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified) to move materials safely within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Efficiency: Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail when handling inventory data.
- Equipment Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld scanners, computers, and basic warehouse machinery.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
