Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders according to specific pick tickets and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Utilize handheld scanners to verify stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when certified.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent shipping errors.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe by adhering to 5S principles.
- Stock Rotation: Monitor stock rotation dates and move older inventory to the front to ensure freshness and availability.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order picking and packing.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software (WMS) quickly.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs arise.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
